Fool's errand or a legendary experience? Arnage.

Saw this in the flesh and now, just can't get it out of my mind.
I've always bought sportscars but seriously considering buying this. Enjoy it for a year or so and then get rid of it, crazy bills and further depreciation be damned.
Only question is, will I be able to sell it again?
Has anyone owned one of these?

Judging from the pictures on the vendors web site it looks to be in very good condition. My only concern is that it seems a bit too cheap. How much history comes with the car? Can you tell whether it has had an overhaul of the hydraulic system ? Do all the electronics work? Some of mine don't, but they are not important bits. I'd be tempted to cough up a bit of pocket money and get it examined by a Bentley franchised dealer. I did, and they found a cracked water pump, which was expensive to repair.
I do hope you buy it. If you do, you'll not want to get rid of it. I have an Arnage T Mulliner II and it is totally absorbing and thrilling to drive. After the demise of the Mulsanne, the Arnage is the last of the 6.75 litre, twin turbo cars. Surely the good ones are as cheap as they will ever be.
Good Luck.

No first hand experience, as I own an earlier Arnage, but this looks like it could be a good one. The Hooper style rear window is a very nice touch. As I understand it, the Arnage T post 2007 (which this is) is the one to go for as there are fewer head gasket and cam worries as compared to the earlier ones. The price looks about right for the current market (they're criminally undervalued in my view), but as another poster implied definitely get it inspected by a specialist to identify any issues. There are plenty within striking distance of the seller's location - https://www.rrbsa.co.uk/
Good luck!
Good luck!
Price might be about right. I have a 2000 Red Label and you have to plan for spending out, although if you find a good independent garage the costs need not be crippling (relatively speaking).
Look up a guy called Dean Jaggard on Facebook (Rolls Royce and Bentley Cars Topics Faults and Resolutions group) he is in that area and does inspections. He also services and repairs too. https://www.facebook.com/groups/rollsroyceandbentl...
In the North West, where I am, it's Bowling-Ryan in Bolton.
I had the same idea about own it for a year and then get rid before it needs money spending on it. That's folly. They need money spending ALL THE TIME! But hey, it's a fantastic beast.
