reg plate check at DVLA says reg-date 1950, year of manufacture 1991.

looks like a homebrew or kitcar to me using Bentley Components.

proportion-wise the car looks bad from all angles

There are quite a few similar looking 'specials' around; possibly not the best-looking 'coachbuilt' on a Bentley chassis, though.
