Bentley Arnage brakes
Discussion
Hi guys,
New to this forum so a big hello to all of you.
I have a 2000 Bentley Arnage the 4.4 litre.
its recently failed mot due to brake pipes and was wondering if anyone here knew if they brakes can be bleeded manually or does a computer need to be plugged in? I have tried several garages and they all have turned me away as they cannot do the brake lines so I will have to do it myself which is not an issue but was unsure of the bleeding process as i was advised that a computer needs to be plugged in.
Thanks

hi,
i hope this late reply helps.
the Arnage was made before computers were dreamt of
the braking system has no resemblance to a BMW or infact almost any other car.
the brake lines are known to corrode and will require replacement as you mentioned.
this procedure and bleeding etc is best carried out by a specialist, as the system ivolves spheres/ distribution blocks and special fluids etc....
plugin is not required.
cheers raj
