Door mirror adjustment - Bentley Turbo R
Discussion
Hi
Hopefully someone can help with this: the driver's door mirror on my 1993 Turbo R (chassis PCH46125, RHD) doesn't adjust when I move the switch. The passenger side one is fine. The fuses all look OK, and unfortunately the owner's manual doesn't identify which fuse is for the mirror adjustment. I do seem to have a missing relay (the bottom left one as you look under the bonnet from the passenger side) but apparently that might be normal, e.g. as my car doesn't have a sunroof. The manual doesn't say anything about relays.
I've spoken to Introcar and Flying Spares and they are both unable to help. I've also looked at the workshop manual online but it isn't easy to decipher.
I guess it might be the switch (as it seems slightly odd to me for there to be a separate fuse and/or relay for each mirror), but does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks for any help! Luckily the mirror is in more or less the right position, but I like things to work...

Can you hear the motor running when you try the switch? if it is and the mirror is no moving, then it's mechanical in the mirror housing.
If you cant hear it then you have to start testing - I'd start with the mirror motor itself. And see if there is a current going to the motor when you operate the switch. If it works and there is a current then you have to work back.
At this point, I'd probably give it to someone else!! My choice is Starmans, who are next door to Flying Spares.
