2008 GT Drivers Seat Memory.

Can anyone advise please ?

Used the car earlier this week.

Attempted to use memory setting 1 ( mine )on the drivers seat today .

Nothing.

Numerous attempts to reset failed.

Any ideas why ?

I would guess you need to go through the reset procedure which is a little long winded but essentially is moving all the seat motors to their extremities.
I can provide more details if required.

I did read the reset procedure in the handbook for the car . Recommended if the services. battery is disconnected for some reason .

I'll give it a try !

I think there is something to do with the steering wheel movement being turned off while you set things although I'd need to look to check.
