Bentley GT front shocks
Discussion
Has anyone had both front shocks fail at the exact same time? Both were replaced less than 2 years ago and today I found the front end on the ground. It's a 2007 Bentley GT.
Ive taken it apart and noticed Im getting no air to the shocks so I'm thinking its possible the air distribution block next to the compressor at the rear has failed.
Anyone experienced just the front going due to this?

If anyone has the same problem it would appear that the solenoid will not send air to the shocks when it detects a low suspension fault.
I've stripped it all apart and tested all the components and found that one shock has failed and also the air line to the opposite shock.
I can only assume that one failed and the other must have been close to failure anyway and failed taking the load by itself.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for sharing your experiences regarding the shocks.
Mine is an '06 and currently not showing any signs of a problem with the suspension.
(Perhaps I shouldn't have said that????)
Good luck with the repairs, keep us posted on how it goes.
Thumbs up for tackling the job yourself.

Of you're 06 is still on it's original shocks you're doing way better than me. I've owned mine for almost 8 years now it's an 07 and this is the second set I'll have changed. She's on about 78k mls. First set was changed around the 30k Mark. So they are improving lolThanks for sharing your experiences regarding the shocks.
