Continental GT - start stop

Hi guys,

thinking of buying a Conti GT.

I wanted to know if the model has start stop technology for traffic as I live in central London.

I think it depends on the year. Mine is a 2010 and doesn't have it. I have heard that instead they have a piston reduction system where the car only uses those pistons that are required to meed demand or it reverts to 4 or 6 cylinders again depending on demand. Not sure about the V8's.

Evening, the new model does have stop start. Previous generations do not.
