One of the things that I miss from my DB9 is the superb V12 burble at low revs and the Immense noise that it made when the exhaust valves opened. I appreciate that it is a Bentley and some people will disagree with what I am doing with regards to improving the 'Audio presence' of the car. There is also the Power and Torque issue with the car already around the 600bhp mark.

The car is now booked in to have the Larini 'ST2' Rear Assemblies and ActiValve System and the Larini 'Club Sport' centre section (Secondary De-Cat) with ActiValve remote to have full control over the exhaust valves. Followed by a full ECU remap will take the car over 700BHP and a Torque increase to around 630lb.ft

Keeping the original 'Speed' exhaust tips so will look the same from the outside.

I will post the Remap graphs on here once completed.

Ive always liked the Larini systems. A sweet sound, aggressive without being a hooligan.
Should be great. The Bentley sounds good when you floor it but never in the way a petrolhead would want as its of course refined for the more mature owners. The Larini should sort that out 👍

Hi David, car looks amazing, and bet it sounds awesome as well. Love too see it, bring it along too our next Pub Club meet in September.
Gone with Tintex for my wrap, as their product is more authentic than Monsterwraps.

Just collected the car from DMS Automotive. Stage one complete with the Larini Acti-Valve ST2 exhaust fitted and ECU Re-Map now at 706bhp. I will post the print out shortly.

Stage 2 in a few weeks time will be the Larini centre exhaust section with secondary decat.

The car sounds awesome and fully controllable through a key fob.

Hi Bro hope well

I’m keen to know how the setup ended and how you find your driving experience as I’m getting a gt speed 626bhp version next week

I’m think Air filters BMC Centre Pipe by sprint exhausts and a stage 1 DMS map.

appreciate any feedback

Thx Nav Bham

The power was always there at standard BHP but the remap up to 706bhp made a noticeable difference particularly during acceleration. The biggest improvement was the sound that the Larini exhausts provided. Having come from a AM DB9 I missed the aggressive sound of the 12 cylinders which is the main reason I had the exhaust changed.
