Hi, hope you can help.
Recently purchased an 04 continental and would appreciate recommends on where to get it serviced.I am in South Manchester 6 miles South of Stockport.
The tv doesn't work and assume this needs an upgrade ,is this a easy job for some one to do and how much would this likely to cost.
How do I connect my mobile, is their a code? I have an iPhone 4. Will this pair ? If not what are the best options available.
Service history a little sketchy so thinking. Full service and transmission fluid change as car now on 75000 miles. Any ideas on the cost of this would be appreciated.
Any advice comments appreciated, prepared to travel reasonable distance for servicing by a reputable indie.

Hi.

There is a well respected Indie in Crewe, Ivor Twiss, I used to take my GT to him. Far less expensive than the main dealer in Knutsford and he knows these cars inside out as he was the Bentley worldwide tech when they first came out.
Google 'GT Services' and you will find him.

The TV won't work as it's analogue and I never did bother to get the phone to work in mine.

P.S. He does a drop off and pickup service from Crewe mainline station so an easy trip to Stockport on the train if your car has to stay in for work.

You will find that an old fashioned Nokia 6100 will fit the cradle in the driver's arm rest. So at least you can have a phone that hooks up to the phone button and audio. Not sure how you link in a smart phone though.

There is a company in Wales who will swap over your central console with a digital TV. Cost was circa £5,000 when a chum of mine had it done.

Good luck with your car. Mine is now up to 90,000 miles and in recent years has been largely trouble free. I suspect that is because I have spent quite a lot with a main dealer to iron out electronic gremlins.

Cheers ,Thankfully all electrics appear to be working, but will want to get her serviced as soon as funds allow, anticipating £1000 full service by an indie and probably £500 to change oil in the gear box? Hopefully nothing untoward will require attention as drives well.

Parking sensors front and rear require replacing ,is this an easy fix to do yourself and which one's do I need to get,as believe their are two sizes in the car .?Any one know the parts numbers as prices vary considerably on the web.
Cheers.

Parking sensors will need painting to match the bumper finish.
