Dear Sirs:

My Mulsanne S 92 has not been running for about 4 years. It was smoking thru the exhaust heavily, and I got tired and frustrated with large bills that did not fix up the problem, here in Portugal. Finally, the culprit was found: a faulty spark plug, that's all there was!

I was repeatedy ripped off. By several "so called" mechanics. But even Bentley Portugal failed to check for such a basic thing as a spark plug.

Now, the engine is running perfectly, but the car leaks oil and so I need gaskets.

I have checked pricing directly from Bentley Portugal and I found pricing to be exagerated. For example, a carter gasket will run to Euros 200, while valve cover gaskets will cost 100 Euros each!

Can anyone suggest a site where I can buy these and other engine gaskets cheaper?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I use Introcar for parts for my Turbo R, so would suggest you have a look at their website. It is pretty easy to use, has exploded diagrams to help identify the parts you need and has the prices on there too.

Rocker cover gaskets are a nightmare as they changed from cork to rubber at the tail end of production, the cork ones are NLA and to do the conversion costs lots as there are a variety of bits you need. I was quoted about £700 to change them but mine is a late one with plenums to remove (which also require new gaskets!) so yours will be less.
