Hello All

Pulled the trigger on a 2008 Bentley Continental GT today. Wanted a nearly new car but just kept coming back to the value some of the older variants represent and this is a car for wafting down to France and back in so decided to go for something of value given what my petrol bill is going to look like!

I think the car sits a little high, newer variants definitely seem lower. Can these be lowered in software, I also noticed airtronic "Lowering linkages" which simply move the sensor to trick the car in to going lower, e.g.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BENTLEY-GT-GTC-SPUR-LOWE...

Whats the best way to move the car just a subtle amount maybe 10-15mm ?

Thanks in advance, I'm sure I'll have more questions as time goes on and look forward to joining in..

I use mine to mile much to Switzerland and Antibes .
They don,t “ waft “ btw - you can outblast just about everything if you want .
I would hold fire on any suspension mods until you have it and driven it properly.
You can lower the height and stiffen up the shockers .

Your nerve will run out way before you get near the cornering limits .

Lowering links are fine, the guys at 6speed onoine have more info and diy stuff than here. Just remember high service and parts costs, and heavy-weight car. Did you change the tires yet so much better Michelin Pilot sports 4S or does it still have the slippery Pirellis?
