Quick question folks. Apologies if it is a simple one and has been answered before.
Do you know if the shell of a Silver Shadow I is stamped with the chassis number in any place? I know the chassis plate in the engine bay shows it, and it should be stamped on the block (somewhere) but can I also find it somewhere else (e.g. by pulling up a carpet or some interior trim)?
I will be taking the Shadow to the controle technique next Wednesday and I know they will check for it - your assistance and knowledge much appreciated!

But the point about answers is well made.
I was wondering if perhaps i had a bad smell about me as mine (which seem quite normal to me
