Can I ask for some advice please ?
As per my previous threads , I recently purchased a 2008 Continental GT with just over 20,000 miles on the clock.
The Air Con does work , but on "cold " I consider the air should be much cooler.
Searching the service history for the car I can find no reference to the system ever having been re-gassed , which could well be the issue , or at least a starting point to solve the problem.
Can anyone point me towards the re-charge valve ?
Is the re-charge procedure the same as most other cars ?

Paul, Thank you for your reply.
A mate runs a car radiator business , part of which includes Air Con re-gassing.
Very few Bentleys down here in Plymouth , and in fact he has never re-gassed one !
He is reluctant to start pulling anything apart , and does not know where the valves are or whether the procedure is the same for most other cars.
Any ideas ?

Under the scuttle trim .
You need to go into “ service “ on the infotainment select wiper service .
14 mm socket to remove the wipers ( remember which is which as they are different )
Check some screws at the end of the trim and lift it off .
Between the engine bulkhead and car bulkhead is quite a lot .
Familiarise your self - eg fuse box n relays under passenger side ( RHD) .
AC connects are there .
As a test run it up on max cold and see if the pipes are cold 1 st ?
There also the HVAC unit - well the top 1/2 with a heater control valve - actually two one for each side .
Failure leaves it ( defaults ) open so it gets all hot and the AC components is not enough to really cool .
There’s a shed load of sensors too buried deep - a dash out job to really access the lower 1/2 of the HVAC unit .
The VAG com Dx tool can check each sensor and flap motor .
But 1 st as you say ck the gas pressure .
You need to find the correct pressure ,just pumping it up with a Halfords gas can - willy nilly = a high pressure sensor tripping off the AC pump .
Pressure has to be within a range - find that out
Anybody?
This bit the HVAC system is straight out of Audi / VW parts bin — Phaeton / A8 exact parts
So try one of them

Refill is so very easy, just remove the plastic bit by the rear of engine bay (close to windshield under bonnet).
As a side note, it could also be the dreaded defective flap. A recirculation flap or some such seems to get stuck/broken, and why cold air is slow to deliver. Very common problem.
PS: Make sure you have automatic air recirculation on, if not turned on that could be the problem.
