My radio doesn't show many stations when searching and looses reception as soon as you drive along, does anyone know where the antenna is or has any thoughts on the fault?

There appears to be a two bar antenna at the top of the rear window .
Perhaps your car has a history of a replaced rear brake light .
I understand various wires can be damaged in the process .

While we ( forum ) is on the subject of radio tuning
Mines ( 2004 CGT ) pretty good ,while we are on the subject of radio stations - mine seems to auto tune when I move countries, with out any effort or input from me .
Normally in other cars you have retune as you say move France ( Tunnel ) to U.K.
seems to capture loads say 3 page loads of stations .
Currently in Switzerland and it’s tuned itself in
Anybody know how that works ?

thanks, do you know if the wires connected to the rear window elements as there 's a unit there which I assumed was a reciever for the locking/alarm?

Thanks for your suggestion, I took the rear roof lining down at the r/h side and found a multiplug detatched from the amp, after a struggle and choice words it finally went back on and the radio seems to be working ok. Thanks again, lots more niggleing faults to try and solve tho.
