Does anyone know what controls the operation of the aerofoil as mine works ok manually, lights up on the dash sometimes when I switch on the ignition but doesn't go up when driving.

There is relay/control unit in the boot, behind the lining, that manages these operations.
Perhaps an auto-electrician could test it for to find the fault?

On my 2004 it was definitely raised at 70MPH and dropped at 45MPH.

Funnily enough it is a great reminder to check my speed when it suddenly appears in my rear view mirror.....

Or you could, of course, set your personal maximum speed warning?
"Unfortunately" mine is set at 100mph which, needless to say, is way above any speed that I would drive (in the UK)
