Hello all, I have recently picked up my GTC, I was wondering is it possible to programme the door mirrors to Auto-Fold on locking ??
No, afraid not. Only available from 2016 onwards. You will have to fold the mirrors using the control by the gear lever before you get out.The 'Official' answer from Phantom Motors..
"The Power Folding instruction comes from the KESSY control Module which is the Keyless Start System (Alarm and Immobiliser). The KESSY CM's are very specific to the age and model of Bentley and cannot be swapped for security reasons".

Speculatore, thanks for your reply, not what i was hoping for tbh, but better to know. Quite surprising I have to say, my 2008 DB9 can do it and you would have thought the Bentley brand would have such options !
My 2007 DB9 did it s well. It does seem bizarre that you can turn them in electronically from the inside before you get out but not to operate on locking the car... Don't even get me started on Mud Flaps.....Would be interested on your view of the Bentley compared to the DB9 as I made the same change. I had my DB9 'enhanced' by Bamford Rose up to 520bhp with switchable suspension, lightweight flywheel, twin plate clutch etc, etc so it was a bit of a pull for me to see it go. (To New Zealand).
I must say that the GT matches it in every department but I do have the Speed version with the extra Humph.

I always liked the folding mirrors, one as they are less likely to get knocked, and two, so you can visibly see you have locked the car.Would be interested on your view of the Bentley compared to the DB9 as I made the same change. I'm only 4 weeks into ownership of the GTC, and I must say I love it, different animal in so many ways to the DB, creature comforts and ride quaility probably being the biggest draw for me, the DB is possibly more of a Go-kart type ride, whereas the Bentley is so much more refined ?
Fantic, I've had my gtc V8 (2013 model) 3 years now and am still smitten by it, my wife absolutely loves it and we drove down to sorrento Italy in it a couple of years ago and it was an epic trip. Uber comfortable for long journeys and not tiring to drive at all. The only thing I needed when we got home I felt was some more power from the engine so I booked her in at dms (Southampton) for a remap etc and drove home with 704 bhp and almost 800 ft lb of torque, what a transformation and it now gives my 458 spider a good run for its money ( only in a straight line though)

Tony, Can you PM me the details of your remap and how you went about it? I live in Portchester so Southampton is not too far away.... I already have the W12 GT Speed with over 600bhp so I wounder what it would come out at with a re-map.TonyF said:

Tony, would you know how that affects the Bentley warranty ?, I have a two year warranty with mine and wouldn't want to jeapordise that ?I have had the V8S for about 4 weeks now and love it, quick enough when I want it and crazy levels of comfort. Also gets a lot of attention which I am not sure how I feel about but then I did get it in Kingfisher blue! Great car though and would also be interested in what the remap doe to the warranty (voids it I would imagine|!)
