Key fob refurb - advice sought

Hi there,

After a couple of disastrous battery changes, my 3 x button key fob is looking a bit worse for wear. The round hook thing at the end has broken off and the leather surround is peeling away. The key works perfectly - but its shabby.

Does anyone have any experience of getting a refurb done on the fob? I found a place online but am not sure about them.

Any advice is welcome.

I purchased a replacement casing through eBay for a reasonable price. My garage swapped all the internals and the blade while the car was in for service. After six months, the three buttons have partially lost the white symbols but they work perfectly. I also found a company that refurbish your fob but I read a couple of reports that their workmanship isn't always up to scratch. Trouble is, you only mainly hear of the poor service, not the good.
