I'm thinking about one these as a long term buy. It might be a better option than just chucking cash at a replacement Conti GT every 3 years?

At the right price and fully inspected, that would be a shrewd purchase.

Inspection by a competent expert is vital. Make sure that the hydraulic service has been done.

The Azure loses boot space when the hood is down and the lack of a hood can cause body twisting but what a beautiful shape!

It's a very different type of car to the GT, massive sense of occasion, but very soft and more of a old school cruiser.

Have you driven one?

I haven't driven the Azure II, but the Arnage that it is based on is considerably less soft than the SZs that the Azure I was based on.

I suppose the Azures might be tuned differently, but I'd at least expect the Azure II to be considerably less soft than the Azure I.

I haven't driven the Conti GT either, so I can't compare there.

Cheers,
Jeff.
