Bentley Service Costs - Main Dealer Negotiation?
Discussion
Dear All
Can anyone tell me, have you negotiated down the service costs of your Bentley (any model), by obtaining one quote from one dealer and then another?
I have a 2016 Mulsanne Speed due for service in a month or two. I'm based in Sheffield, so almost central between two main dealers, Manchester & Leeds - Meaning I can easily use either.
Also, if anyone has had an "A Service" carried out on a Mulsanne Speed, what should I be aiming to pay?
Many thanks in advance

Dealers will certainly negotiate on older cars. On my 2002 Arnage T the local dealer does a full annual inspection including oil change for £500 including vat.
If anything comes up I get my tame mechanic to fix it. If it is out of his orbit I get Phantom Motors to do it.
I get the best of all worlds with Dealer Service stamp on the book. Basic fixes done economically and complex matters dealt with by someone who really understands these cars.

Yes I Always negotiated when I run the Arnage and will do the same with the Mulsanne, when its due in a few months.
Hi dazzalse, hope you're well - My "A Service" is due on or around the 16th of May, guessing your's will be around the same time, I'll let you know how I get on with quotes.Allister

£500 for a main dealer annual inspection and oil change is not bad at all Paul - Having all other work done at a specialist is definitely a good move also once out of warranty.... As you say, you're still getting the main dealer stamp in the book, yet not getting shafted on things like brake pads.If anything comes up I get my tame mechanic to fix it. If it is out of his orbit I get Phantom Motors to do it.
