If you think the car is kosher and I'm assuming there's no warranty make the sale contingent on the service that's due, adjust the price accordingly and ask Bentley to check the car over whilst it's in there. They will have a record of everything that's been done to the car within the Bentley network.

Thanks for the reply.

Would the 20 month gap between the last 2 services be a pain when it comes to resale?

Not hugely but it if you have the car for a couple of years with no issues and you service it appropriately it becomes irrelevant.

I bought back in October 16 at 34k miles. Full Bentley history and also 13 months of Bentley warranty transferred to my name from the prev owner. It had 6 prev owners. The car is in great condition i was also shown all the service invoices since new from Jack Barclay/HR Owen totaling to 15k frown . Very happy so far, only issue i had with type pressure monitoring system which has been fixed by Bentley - i was also given Audi S8 courtesy car. So far great experience

I wouldnt touch if it is out of warranty, they extremely expensive to put right.

Hi,

I've been offered a Continental GT Speed in black with black leather and gloss black trim for a decent (I think price) but a couple of things i'm not 100% on.

It's a 2009 with just over 54k but was last serviced mid 2015 at 49k (7 Bentley services)
Second issue is that it has had 5 owners in total (So I would be the 6th).

Apart from that, the car is in great condition and looks well looked after.
What are your thoughts?
Lots of these cars are not serviced “exactly" on time I really wouldn't worry about it personally. Likewise with the number of owners, these cars often are only owned for a relatively short period of time before the owner moves on to something else.

I've had my 08 GT Speed for just under 4 years and it’s been fantastic & Incredibly reliable. Couldn’t recommend one enough.
