Morning all

Can anybody help?

I am transferring a new plate on to my car but have noticed the rear is a larger size than the front.
The car is being painted elsewhere so I cant measure it myself.I want to have the plates on it when I pick the car up so does anybody know which size to order for the rear?

Regards,Gary.

I ordered mine from a Bentley main agent, who obviously did not need to be told the size. I suggest you do the same.

The other advantage of that is it will have the main dealer name on the plate, probably - which I think looks better than halfords or something.

Yes, that was another reason: I ordered my plates from Harwoods, because they were the original supplying dealer, so the number plates now match the nameplates on the sills. Trivial little detail, I suppose, but a bit of fun. Unfortunately, current rules no longer allow them to put the Bentley logo on the plates, which is a bit of a shame, but that's bureaucracy for you (or is it an EU directive?!!).frown

Actually, I think its a "Gordon Brown-ism". His government decided that it would be a great idea to make number plates hard to come by, thinking that it would reduce crime (false number plates and all that !).

Somewhat obviously, we've ended up in a situation where its now easier to obtain a false number plate than it is to obtain a real one. That's democracy in action for you.

Jack Barclay made up a rear plate for my Arnage no trouble. Can't remember the price but it wasn't anything awful...
