I bought a Bentley a couple of years back and after an initial flurry of invites to special events I've heard nothing since.
I initially felt like I'd really bought in to a lifestyle rather than just a car. It was very special.
So now that Bentley and the dealer themselves have gone quiet I too have ben looking at joining a club.

The BDC is about meeting up and using the cars. They have some great events, some you can't get access to as a member of Joe Public. They are doing much more for Crewe models also. The Silverstone Race Day on 6th August in particular is superb. Definitely worth going along for a taster.

Just bought my first Bentley and was wondering is it worth joining any of the owners clubs?
Same! Welcome! I bought a Bentley Continental Gt Coupe. What have you bought? For those in reach of Goodwood, Harwoods are having an evening event at the end of May. Bentley Drivers Club have been invited but this is not restricted to BDC members. See http://harwoodsmail.co.uk/t/12F1-47NAJ-E6ERJPSKCF/...
For those nearer their New Forest facility, there is an open day on 6th August with test drives of new cars, vehicle appraisals, special offers on accessories and the opportunity to have a wet shave (husbands can have one too!) Pulled pork rolls and soft drinks too.
I am in no way connected to Harwoods beyond being a customer. My GT was in for a service yesterday and needs a new water pump. So that I don't have to pitch up at Blenheim in a modern, they have kindly lent me a Flying Spur for the week end. Fantastic service!
