Guys i will not try and hide my feelings that i have made clear in recent years to the difference between the v8 and w12 gt continental models,i have always felt the w12 is way ahead of the v8 in every dept but after driving a very nicely specced v8S yesterday with the optional sports exhaust hell iam going to have to say what a car the v8s is,its extremely agile and fun in abundance.Something tells me it wont be long before i get a v8s will keep you posted, might save a little on fuel as well ha ha.

cheers simon

Yes. Took delivery last Tuesday. Loving it so far. Amazing combination of power and comfort which is what I wanted. The colour combination is a bit bling but I am very happy with the price I paid for what is virtually a new car (just 1,900 miles and 2.5 yrs old). I feel a bit conspicuous in it so tend to drive very courteously. My normal London style driving would be more assertive!

It is a great car to have to compliment the Range Rover and Porsches.

Congrats she is lovely and yes the staggering devaluation makes one wonder who buys these new. In five years your car will be about half-again the value too so it'll be great for the next owner too. Just remember to keep her serviced and properly fixed, so factor in those costs as well.

Thats lovely.

My boss had a V8S GTC as a loaner recently whilst his was being serviced (GTC Speed) imo V8S is more driveable than a W12, lighter front end, crisper turn etc & all the pops & bangs on overrun are good too. 1st time the boss didnt want his own car back!

Also drive a V8 Spur that replaced a W12 & that`s more fun too.

If relevant: The Spur on a fairly quick run from London to Leeds returned mid 20`s!!

thx jim, must say im very happy,ok the v8 has not got that unreal amount of torque like the speed but its very driver freindly and chuckable, yes fuel economy is much better than speed allready noticed that.Very impressed with paintwork compared to my previous gt's as they were bespoke colours and sprayed in uk compared to the moonbeam which is german sprayed and have not found a blemish.

cheers simon

Hi Simon. Was out in the W12 today & there is something about how it seems to `reel in the countryside` whilst seeming to stand still! If you get my drift.

Also I did`nt realise any Bentley was built outside of Crewe.

Every day is a school day etc.

How is the new V8 going Simon? Just had my Speed detailed at KDS Keltec and I am very pleased with the results. The car feels complete now!

im embarresed to say since buying the v8s ive not had chance to use it much untill weekend just gone as it was my birthday weekend and we spent it in windsor but decided to give my arnage a run as it had been in storage for 7 monthes. My goodness its a thirsty monster he he and wished i had taken the v8s not really but after having to use a map to get to desborough from windsor as the arnage sat nav was giving me a headache my wife said told you should of brought the other one.But will be using it in a few weeks time to go to a breakfast meeting at wilton house so will give update then.So glad your enjoying the speed and some of these detailers are superb and well worth having done once a year.

cheers simon
