Has anyone Tuned an Arnage Green Label?
Discussion
I know many will say why tune a GL when you can buy an RL or a T which has the desired torque characteristics?
I suppose one might argue that in tuning a GL you're working with modern technology (quad cam/lighter reciprocating masses/good balancing & smoothness etc)with the refinement, durability & flexibility that offers.
But given that the German Uber-saloons have gone all twin-turbo V8 (RS6/M5/S63) as has the Continental, I'm wondering if perhaps there's a case for picking up the rather unloved GL & getting a credible tuner to work their magic & give it the torque & power it always deserved?

I've been out with factory engineers who've (temporarily) introduced different engine maps and the difference has been phenomenal. The engines on these cars have weaknesses but none of these should be affected by a proper re-map. The main concern is the limitation of the car and its driver.
