I have one door capping that needs a straightforward re-lacquer and one that needs repair and lacquer.

Any recommendations?

I'd ask the BDC (Bentley Driver's Club) or the RREC if it's a Roller. They will certainly be able to help.

These are ex RR and Bentley guys.

In the more humble world in which I live, I can tell you that several local Triumph owners rate them very highly.

Mine also need doing - I've phoned around for lots of quotes as the price seems to vary from around £500 to £1500 (for four cappings). From speaking to the various firms, the one that seems to me to offer the best balance between cost and expertise (without having used them yet) is this one:

Good luck!

One door capping? During the first few years it was possible to achieve very good colour matches but never with older cars where the lacquer gradually detached from the wooden substrate. Get all four done and then save some money to do the remainder.
