I need 2 new tyres for my 92 Turbo R, in the past they have been in stock at most places, however i have tried most of the online companies and the national chains as well as a few local tyre shops and no one has them in stock, it seems that Pirelli are the main ones that make that size and they are out of stock and will not be producing any till 2016!!

I have heard Avon and Khumo also make that size but no one can confirm or have any in stock.

Anyone got any ideas of where i could possibly locate some tyres taht will fit, unfortunately they are now on the limit so cannot use the car till this has been resolved.

Thanks

Perhaps change all the tyres to the far better Michelin Super Sport 265/45ZR18. I changed from the stock Pirelli P-Zero to the Super Sport and the higher performance is obvious.

I believe so yet talk to your dealer/service dept as they'd know for sure.

From a previous post:

"Just had to change all 4 tyres on my 96 RL. Had used Goodyears Eagle F1s. Now trying Toyo Proxes CF1s.

Goodyears lasted 7000 miles. Lets see how Toyo do. Very reasonable at just over £100 a corner. Will feed back performance once sccrubbed in.

Can recommend the Toyo Proxes. Much more durable than the Goodyears, and good handling.
