Hi,

I'm taking my 2008 GT Speed to Europe in a couple of weeks. The manual says that the headlights have to be adjusted by a dealer for European driving. That's quite a pain especially as I need to drive to the UK terminal in the dark as I'm crossing overnight. I understand that there may be issues with converters on high intensity headlamps. What do others do?

Cheers

I have always left mine as they are, and never had anyone flash me. I think the cut off on HIDs allows for this.

It's only the nearside headlamp that has an adjusting lever. Mine is set for Europe and has even passed the UK MOT twice like that.
To get to the lever on the back of the lamp you have to remove some of the inlet pipe to gain access.
Mine was adjusted by a main dealer but an independent garage would be just as good.

Enjoy your trip.
