Hi, has anyone had experience of the two? I have previously owned a 05 Continental GT and a 07 GTC and just wondered is there a distinct difference moving up into a GT speed? I am looking at the 2008+ model GT speed. many thanks

Not really much of a difference in the scheme of things. If you want more power, find a shop that can flash the computer and you'll get far more power from a flashed GT than a stock Speed smile

I get the feeling that the GT has softer suspension and a less agressive setup.

The GT is more of a comfy cruiser than the Speed is.

I have a Speed but I always notice how softer and comfier a GT is when I drive one.

Thanks for your replies, do you think the speed is worth the extra £££ jump from the gt? I've see them for around £40-£45,000 but a great is a good £10,000 less. Other then firmer ride, can you actually feel the difference in performance , acceleration etc??

I had a 2009 Speed and loved it. As far as I'm aware the speed is lower than the standard GT and that extra 5/10mm or whatever it is males a huge difference to the look and stance. That will/may also be why the standard GT is softer but I personally far prefer the more sporty ride and it was more than smooth enough. It's a Bentley not a GTR smile

The extra 50bhp was noticeable but that was just a short drive in the standard GT. You also get Muliner spec as standard with the Speed so that's what you should be comparing with against a GT.

No brainer for me (I guess goes without saying as I did it) and only sold it when I bought my Supersport.

Happy hunting.
