I quite fancy one but before badgering a dealer thought I would get up to speed first.

Do we know when these will be delivered and if the final release is going to look like the most recent prototype photos?

I think it's a beautiful thing and can't imagine not getting one!

We have no idea of price, when it will be released... or even how many cylinders the engine will have(!). Hopefully it will come with a longer warranty than the GTs/etc. I'd wait it out a year or so to see what defects sift out, which sadly seems to be very common with new model types from Bentley nowadays.

It would be reassuring to think that Bentley would realise that more electronics does not equate to better. Most of the complaints about the GT range come down to fragile or incomprehensible electronics. These may be beyond the capabilities of the indies to fix. Let's hope for a return to common sense, and cut the electronics to the minimum. I don't mind manual window opening, and with only two doors to lock how hard is it to do it the old way. And as for the touch badge boot opening system - why can't we just have a handle? Must be possible to tuck it under the trailing edge of the boot. Keyless ignition ? A thief's charter. Memory seats ? How many people do they think are going to drive my pride and joy? Just something else to go wrong. And dare we mention the SatNav system, which is antique. So come on Bentley - less electronics means improved reliability and simpler ownership. Just get to grips with it.

Great news! TVR is coming back and seems like this could be an excellent option. Very much look forward to their new design.
