2nd gen Continental - phone connection

Hi,

Apologies if this has already been discussed on this forum - tried searching but did not find anything.

I got a second generation GT, and when trying to use online services (3D maps on navigation, Google search, etc), found out that Iphones are effectively not compatible with Bentley since they don't support RSap protocol. Now, while I would like to use these services, I wouldn't want to switch to a different kind of phone because of it - so my question is as follows: if you get a separate sim card (with data services activated) for the car, would it enable these services, or would i only be able to use it to make/receive calls via privacy handset?

I think you need a RSAP compatible phone. I also have an iPhone and have been told that these features are incompatible unless I change phones
