If you are talking about the exhaust silencer vacuum actuated flaps, the rubber pipes run from the valves on each rear silencers. Have a look under the rear valance where the exhaust exits and you should see them. My pipes were simply disconnected from the silencers and blocked with suitable sized bolts by the previous owner. There is no need to do anything to the actual valve.
The valves then stay open and give a nicer exhaust note.

just for my information - isn't it like on the Astons, that you just pull a fuse and the valves stay open ?

Hi xxxAngelxxx.

On the GT the valves are vacuum operated so possibly differ from the Aston.

I asked my local specialist (Silver Lady Services) to disconnect mine when it was last in.
Steve said no way as it can cause problems with the ecu.
