I popped my GT in my local main dealer this morning and am incredibly disappointed to get a very dull blue Jag XF. Oh and it's a diseasel to boot. I rather foolishly expected another GT. The one nice feature I have noticed the XF has is sensors that illuminate a sign in door mirror glass so show a car is alongside you in potential blind spots - it works really well on the motorway.

So I've now got an incredibly boring car to drive on this lovely sunny weekend.

So what courtesy cars to fellow Bentley owners get? Am I just being fussy?

Edited to amend my terrible spelling.

Not being fussy at all, when my GTC V8 went in, They gave me a 14 plate Speed W12 with 400 miles on it. Ended up keeping it for 3 weeks whilst warranty work was being carried out.
Cracking car but I can't understand the need for it now the V8 is here... imo.

I'm not sure if this is said "tongue in cheek" but if not why would they lend you a GT as a courtesy car? Can you imagine the cost of having a fleet of GT's as service loan vehicles or if you were expecting the sales department's demonstration car, then that would be better at the dealership over the weekend for a prospective buyer to try rather than being parked up on your drive. Next time book/take your car in during the week and you won't be without it over the weekend when they won't be working on it anyway.

Err why would it be tongue in cheek??? I go to a main dealer and I pay a premium for whatever it is I am paying for so yes I expect a premium service. If I take in a micra I expect a micra not something better. Likewise if I took in a 3series I would expect another 3series. I buy a Bentley so yes you guessed I expect another Bentley. It's strange because I have spoken to a few other GT owners who have taken into other main dealers and they have been given GTs or GTCs; its a sales pitch in a way- give the existing customer whom they know has the money to spend on a new one to tempt them to spend more money.

Common sense really. I certainly won't be buying the Jag lol

JB Nine Elms used to have a fleet of Bentley loan cars. Now my local outfit lend out VAG cars, A6 normally.

They lent me a Volvo XC60. Pretty nice car but it had the Sports suspension which completely destroyed the ride comfort.
