There seem to be a few well known flaws (tire pressure sensors, rear brake light, water holes) - does anybody know if//when these were corrected when the car had its various facelifts?

I might be interested in buying one - after which model year did they get rid of these flaws?

According to a well known independent, the drain holes are the same size they always were. The high level brake light is no longer a weak point. Don't know about the tyre pressure sensors. GTs still eat batteries if you don't use them regularly or hook them up to a battery conditioner.

Good luck!
David.

Tire pressure sensors were changed for the 2006 models and the rear brake light for 2007 models.

I would imagine that those with the brake light problem would have been sorted by now.
TPMS is a serviceable item and they are changed periodically as far as I'm aware.
The drain holes are a simple thing to clear. However, I wouldn't park under trees when the leaves are falling as that is one of the problems IMO.

Go for it, it's a smile a mile.
