Jump points in GTC engine bay?

Hello all,

Both batteries are completely dead and I cant open the boot. I've tried the emergency boot release but the nut seems to be rounded off so I can't use it. Is there any jump points in the engine bay? Or even somewhere I can give the car enough power to open the boot?

Use a cigarette lighter charger from your other car

Thanks I'll order one now. Is the lighter socket definitely live in the Bentley at all times? I know some cars where one of these wouldn't work.

As suspected, that didn't work :-( the lighter socket isn't live until the engine is running. Does anyone actually know what to do? I can't be the first to have this problem.

I know the car is dead but you need to turn the ignition on. Turn off interior lights and radio to speed up the process

that hopefully should do it
