Update on my Bentley Turbo RL non opening bootlid problem
Discussion
Hi,
Further to my post some 3 weeks ago entitled ..."I've done something stupid...", on Saturday got local autospark out to the car-he used an auxilliary power sourse attached to something in the engine bay and hey presto the car electrics were powered up and the central locking worked and I was able to open the boot using the now functioning boot opening handle. No idea what was wrong with it but hoping it was a one off problem-in future will be leaving the bootlid ajar when disconnect the battery.
The boot lid lock still not working but can live with that for now.Took the Turbo RL out for a spin for first time in almost a month and now feel much more positive about Bentley Turbo RL ownership (the autospark only charged £30 for the home visit)
Thanks to all of you who so helpfully responded to my original query.
Have a happy Christmas,
Regards William aka misterdog
