How many owners work on their Bentley?Rolls Royce and how ambitious does it get? Are basic servicing items like oil/fuel filter/brake pad/air cleaner changes done together with more extensive regular work? I am thinking of the late '80s early '90s models in particular.

Hi Tony , forgot to mention in e-mail that I carry out my own servicing and repairs.

Fairly straightforward to work on ( make sure you purchase the workshop disc from
flying spares ) ......these cars were built slowly and with pride , so dont be in a rush
to do any repairs or fixes . Take your time and enjoy .

I do all the maintenance/repair work on my 1979 Silver Shadow myself.
I do not have a technical background but find it's not harder than on other cars I've worked on.

On the net you will find several forums where other owners are more than ready to help you along with their advice and experience.
