bought this mag for the best car in world group test , seems rolls wouldnt give them a new rolls so they borrowed a 2006 with 33k mls one off tom hartley . Tom said the car was just like a new one ( even though there has been facelift since 2006) and that they had spent about 12k on a service tyres brakes and other things . Surely a 2006 low mileage car shouldnt need a 12k service ?? it must be hard for a dealer to price a car if they must spend that much preparing a low mileage 7 yr old car ?

The facelift was actually the 2009 MY car and then the latest version came just recently. 12k is not that unusual when you consider the tyres are nearly 800 quid each (I pay 550). The wheels cost more to refurb due to the chrome strips. And Phantoms can suffer badly with corrosion.

To sum up - there are some very nice cars out there and some real dogs so the prices vary accordingly.
