I want to learn more about the technical operation of the ecu management system for my car. I wish to learn how the ecu adapts to different fuel qualities and how the ecu retards the mapping. I'm interested to learn if the adaption is self correcting if 95 fuel is used as apposed to 98 and how quickly it takes to re-adapt back to the optimum running conditions.
There is lots more I would like to rad up on, although I have a CD workshop manual it really only covers actual maintenance where I want to learn more about how the systems actually operate/function.

Any advice please anyone???

Not sure all the mapping details are public knowledge. The tuners do give some insight, but not much really during dynamic changes. Perhaps someone at the factory can help?

Hi All

I am looking at changing from my Aston Martin Vantage to a GT Speed, as a compulsive upgrader can anyone recommend any leading independents that can help with upgrades and maintenance.

I have used an independent called Bamford Rose for my Aston and they have proved to be fantastic, I am only thinking of the change because I need another seat and a proper Auto with fappy paddles, unfortunately the old DB9 doesn’t do it for me.

Any info would be appreciated.

Regards
