Evening Folks,

I am looking at buying one of these but my experience is mostly in Astons and Porsche.
I have a few questions and if someone more Bentley savvy can help I would appreciate it greatly.

I am looking at the 2 seat version. Is this a harder resell? Does the 4 seat comfort option prove more popular and holds it value better? I love the stripped out look and raw(ish)ness of it but I don't want to buy the 'wrong' spec.

Is a Bentley warranty essential? I have seen a few for sale out of the group I like the look of but it would require buying An aftermarket warranty OR can I take the car to Bentley and have them put a bentley warranty on it. If so what is the cost?

The performance looks staggering over my current aston is it significantly different from a retail GT continental of the same age?

Many thanks in advance

John

To answer some of your points, the 4 seat is more popular then the 2 seat and will be easier to resell as its is open to a wider market, something Bentley realised when they launched this model as a 2 seat version only, soon to be followed by the comfort version.
Performance is staggering but don't forget its a big car and can feel rather large on tight A roads!
Most of these cars will probably still be with main agents, considering the age, but either way a warranty is essential, even the smallest problems can be big money!

Two seater is more yummy, but seats do not have height adjustment which meant it got the wifely veto. I got a GT Speed instead as I thought adding back in the weight of the comfort seats to the Supersports missed the point and spoilt it for me.

to me the whole idea off a supersports was lost when bentley fitted the regular 4 seat set up,the bucket seats add a much greater feeling of a connection with the car you can litterly feel the car squirming around under your arse as you start to push it hard then you know its time to get a grip and show it who is the boss, there is no comparrison to a speed or regular gt the super sports towers above them in looks go and the whole experiance,
i personally would not entertain a 4 seat version and in 50 yrs the 2 seat car will be the collectable one due to less sold,,,,,,, so what if they are a harder sell till then

good luck
