I am from the next village and passed that place often over the years as it faces a golf course. I read that it was a family fallout post a death that was the issue. The house is a beautiful arts and crafts scots villa but it looks like it might fall down soon. One of the most famous footballers to come out of Scotland lives a few doors up!
