Tuning a Bentley

I have recently added a Bentley T2 to my collection but in my usual perverse way did not buy a standard one. The one I bought has the running gear from a Turbo R fitted, and true to form, 2 weeks into ownership and the gearbox threw a wobbly. The box is now fixed thanks to Automotive Automatics in Edinburgh (the second auto box they have done for me in 2 years!).

Next on the list is a tune of the motor. The car has only done 3000 miles in the last 13 years, despite a total mileage now of 204k, so it needs a fettle. It has the K-Jetronic injection system, but I am sure is running rich as the exhaust fumes smell strongly of petrol. The 10.2mpg I can put down to a heavy right foot!

Can anybody recommend someone who is up to speed with these injection systems? I am based near Aberdeen but happy to take it anywhere in the UK as I am planning a road trip or two in it (before Le Mans Classic next year) so could work around a service somewhere. TIA.

K Jetronic doesn't usually take too kindly to any tuning. Having said that, I guess that it needs a look at - probably warm-up regulator or water temp sensor. Parts are getting a little rare now.
Main thing is that these systems are vary simple and easy to fix generally. If you pass though Kent on your travels PM me!
