Bentley Arnage red label, missfire

Hi, I have recently bought an arnage red label. The car idles and runs beautifully with the smoothness you would expect. But Ive found that if i was to accelerate hard enough for the turbo to get involved the car has a slight missfire and feels like its wobbling down the road. I would also say that it was down on power which would be down to the missfire. Having never driven another I have nothing to compare it to but I wouldnt say it has the thump that I've read about.
There has been no warning lights or engine management lights.
I was thinking of changing the sparkplugs first.
I have no issues about taking it to a specialist but I do like to have a little tinker myself and thought i'd ask for your knowledge and wisdom

Worth checking plugs, plug leads etc.

They are succeptable to head gasket failure which may also cause a misfire.
