Problematic GTC
Discussion
Came across the page below relating to problems with a GTC. Anyone else had similar experiences or is this a rogue, one off occurrence?

From what I can gather Bentley have attempted to resolve the problems but they have recurred. I think the car has a second set of alloys fitted and these are corroding like the first. Similar with the grille fixings. Warranty is ok but only if any work fixs the problem not hides it. What happens once the warranty runs out and the problems recur once more?

Our last Arnage had lots of battery issues and was very problematic and took bentley forever to resolve, in the end it was traced to a faulty Naim Amplifer!
how long did it take them to find this? Sounds like an earth problem? Maybe something similar with the Bentley on facebook.Did you have other problems with the Arnage? Any alloy corrosion?
Thanks to Nailya for raising this topic which relates to my Bentley GTC. Coincidentally I raised a discussion on pistonheads yesterday in relation to this titled Bentley GTC.
I would be interested to learn of any similar problems experienced by other Bentley or for that matter VW Phaeton owners as to date I have not been able to find anyone.
I did read an article in Top Marques in December which mentioned alloy corrosion and electrical problems but my enquiries to the authors to learn more, resulted in some back tracking with regards to the electrics issue (attributed blame on owners) and refusal to comment on the alloy issues.
I do not believe I am the only one to suffer, but do believe there will only be a limited number of such defective cars issued by Bentley and I am one of the unfortunates. Aside from the disappointment with the car, the attitude exhibited by Bentley Motors has been appalling.
I simply would like commonsense to prevail.
