Grrr - broken rear screen - again .....!
Discussion
So, I spent an entire afternoon carefully taking the rear screen out of the Turbo R so that I could get access to weld up the screen frame.
Placed the rear screen neatly between two stacke of tyres so that it would be protected, only to find that something has dislodged the tyres and the screen is now broken.
Now, I've never broken a rear screen before, but I've done three in the last three weeks - what's going on ?
the first breakage was a log falling off a passing logging truck and the second was due to a roof collapse.
Rant over.

ebay £200 - which is fair, but money I could do without spending.
Yes it is that car - I'll try to put up some pictures soon.
Basically, I've gone through it with a fine mechanical toothcomb and am well into the bodywork now. I intend to sort out all the rot and the previous bodges ( NOT Andy I hasten to add ) and get it all one colour - then tool around in it for a year or two. Then I'll decide what to do with it longer-term.
As an example - I've pulled off all of the exhaust system including manifolds and re-attached the whole system properly, using brackets - half of which were missing. I've even screwed proper Rolls Royce imperial fasteners into the cast manifolds, which is more than the previous people had - metric screws into imperial manifolds is never a good practice.
Pretty much all of the rust is where the car has been repaired improperly beforehand.
