Just wondering wondering what people think of the Hooper style rear window that was an option on the Arnage/Turbo R cars? I cannot post pictures at work so i have posted a link.

Refered to by Bentley as a Privacy Rear Window or by some as a Chauffuer rear window. Personally i really like it and certainly makes it stand apart of other cars. Also never noticed this before but its not just the rear window which is altered, but the bootline is also more curved where it meets the rear window. Subtle but nice!

Thoughts?

on SZ range cars - no way

on Arnage - why not. Maybe it looks best on LWB cars to complete the Limo look. On SWB dechromed R cars - not sure, might contribute to a "gangster" look, may make the car look too dark esp when it has black leather

In any case it is an eccentric option which seems to have had its time - never seen one on Phaeton-platform cars or New Mulsanne.

I wouldnt say no -but I also like the Mulliner chimney exhausts, silk curtains, lambswool rugs and exotic interior modifications like divisions, single rear seats, fridges and the like

I saw a black 2005MY car with the Mulliner option rear window on Piccadilly Circus on Friday - stunning!
