Arnage Sat Nav Update

I have just purchased a 2002 Arnage T which has an Alpine NVE 077P with 2005 maps. Apparently Alpine no longer do updates. Anybody else wrestled with this and if so what is the answer. On a similar vein , the radio is a Grundig. Is it possible to connect an Ipod

I don't have an answer for you but would be interested to see your car! I'm looking at 2003 models (2004MY) at the moment.
