any other Bentley Distributor/Authorised Service Dealer. Please ensure you understand the current service schedule and requirements.
How to Claim
Should it be necessary to make a claim the following procedure should be adopted;
i) Take the Vehicle to a Bentley Distributor/Authorised Service Dealer, preferably the Dealer from whom you purchased the vehicle, and the claim will be handled on your behalf.
IMPORTANT: No repair work should be started before the Administrator has approved it. The Administrator will not pay any claim until the claims process
ii) Foreign Travel Claims
If travelling outside of the country where the Warranty was registered, take the Vehicle to a Bentley Distributor/Authorised Service Dealer and the claim will be handled on your behalf. If this is not possible, The Warranty Holder may authorise repair work himself, provided the total price for parts does not exceed the equivalent of £500 Sterling (or the equivalent in local currency); and claim reimbursement from the Company in accordance with the terms of the Warranty against a receipted invoice. Where the estimated price for parts exceeds £500 (or the equivalent in local currency), authorisation must be obtained from the Administrator prior to the commencement of the repairs.
On completion of repairs unless specific instructions to the contrary are received from the Warranty Holder, all invoices are to be made out to Bentley Motors Limited and on receipt payment will be made on behalf of the Company, subject to the terms and conditions of this Warranty having been adhered to. Should a balance be due this is to be paid by the Warranty Holder to the repairer.
Important: Please ensure that your Warranty number is clearly marked on all correspondence.

I had the 2nd level warranty for a couple of years and although it's comprehensive everything that went wrong with my car wasn't covered!!! There wasn't that many but for example the rear high level brake light which is a window out, £8-900, internal mirror, £250, arm rest, tyre pressure monitor, £7-800 and a couple of others all of which although nothing major are pretty expensive when you take the cost of the warranty into account. The 3rd level is a waste of money. I'm now back on the full cover which is great although not cheap at about £4kRRP.
Does anyone know if the Bentley extended warranty includes bodywork/corrosion cover? I was surprised to learn that the original factory warranty only goes to 3 years when the vast majority of manufacturers bodywork liability is far longer. Having just bought a '08 GTC I keep thinking about the wisdom of taking out a warranty, really just for the peace of mind relating to a catastrophic major failure to do with engine/turbos, starter motor (engine out job) suspension units (if anything like my old RS6 would need whole system replaced if one corner goes) or roof mechanism. I appreciate that the most likely failures would be minor and not worth the £2820 of a warranty but who knows what could happen.
