Continental R high level brake lamp replacement
Discussion
Sorry if this sounds a bit trivial!
The high level brake light on my Conti has failed. The instruction manual makes out that replacing it is a simple task, yet it has turned out to be anything but. The problem is that the cover for the high level light is placed firmly in the acute angle between the parcel shelf and the rear screen, so prising it upwards (as the instructions suggest) merely risks damaging either the cover or the screen. It doesn't seem to want to budge at all.
Are there any tips out there on how to tackle this apparently simple job?
