Which oil spec/type for 1996 Bentley Turbo R?

Planning oil change and not sure which spec/type to use? Synthetic? Semi-Synthetic?

10W40 Mobil in our Turbo R (now showing 162,000 miles).

Apologies I have looked at a service invoice @ 159,543 miles and Mobil Super S 10W/40 was used - when googled it comes up as a semi-synthetic oil.

I believe the correct oil to use is Castrol Syntec 5W-50. At least here in the US, that's what our handbooks suggest...

5W-50 Castrol will do fine in the '89 as well.

I recently had an oil and filter change on my turbo r 1996 but the oil pressure is up In the last quadrant ever since. I’ve read this can be as a result of the filter. Could you advise the best filter to avoid this. I’m going to use 10w 40 oil with the new filter thanks
