Bentley Continental GT Speed worth getting?

I don't think any of them are going to hold there values but if you go for an older one the main item to check is the scuttle for leaves and associated debris it causes this

'They' say that the Speed is superior to the standard GT with revised engine mapping and suspension, and has slightly more power. The normal GT is such an awesome car, that I suspect you would be hard pushed to determine the differences unless you drove the Speed at extremes. I'd be inclined to get the latest GT that I could afford, taking care to see that it had been serviced at a Bentley main dealer, and if possible with a warranty. Hopefully the dodgy electronics of the earlier models will have been eliminated from the one you eventually finish up with.
Good Luck - there are plenty to choose from.

Had a Speed Spur after a standard Spur and the Speed rode much better interestingly. Obviously went like the wind too but the standard car is much more than a stiff breeze. The Speed sounds awesome on the overrun. Very naughty. The only thing I'd avoid is the NAIM option. Doesn't sound good and you lose a lot of boot.
No, didn't buy from AD, as preferred the c. £4-5k saving that seemed to be had by not doing so. Made sure instead that the previous owner was meticulous (obviously, full AD history, but also about condition, recent service, 4 x new tyres, no warning lights etc.). Also, very mileage sensitive, so a 15k miler was quite a bit more expensive than a 25k miler - I know it sounds obvious.
High £60s is a decent price for one of these - hard to imagine it being much below £50 in 2 years' time.
As for extras, there weren't a huge number of useful ones to choose from on the Speed. Worry more about getting the colour combination you're happy with. One extra mine doesn't have is the TV - I'd have preferred to have had that, tbh.
